Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle non-invasive therapy that originated in Osteopathy. It’s a holistic approach, using light manual contact to communicate with the tissues of the body.

The practitioner palpates the client’s body with a highly developed sense of their ability to ‘listen’ through touch, creating a space that is stimulatory, reflective and therapeutic. The practitioner’s touch and presence allows the body to change and adjust through its own body intelligence.

When touch opens up to health and acknowledges the overwhelming strength within our bodies, new forms are created. Tissues and structures shift and adjust in a sequence and order that emerges from within the body system, not from outside.

The body has enormous potential for recovery and regeneration - painful joints can be soothed, inflammation in tissue reduced, organs repaired, organs enabled to function smoothly. All the elements of the body are bought into synch.

When change takes place across the whole body system, there is deep integration, and long-term relief from discomfort is possible.

Treatments can address physical aches and pains, acute and chronic diseases, autonomic nervous system imbalance, as well as emotional and psychological disturbances.

Clients frequently describe a feeling of total relaxation, renewal, deep calm, connectedness, and a sense of well being and inner vitality.
